"There were a few tips I liked..."
There were a few tips I liked, but a lot of it felt repetitive and kind of surface-level. I was hoping for more practical steps I could actually follow, not just general advice. For what it cost, I don’t really feel like I got enough out of it. Just not
"Good idea, but I felt a bit left in the dark"
I really wanted to get more out of Lenny’s Newsletter, because the idea behind it is great and I’ve heard plenty of people rave about it. But after spending some time with it, the content felt hit or miss for me.
There were definitely a few useful takeaways here and there, but a lot of the posts felt longer than they needed to be and seemed to circle back to the same points. I kept hoping for more concrete, fresh examples, but sometimes it felt like I was being left in the dark and just getting broad startup or product advice I’d already heard before.
For the price, I personally didn’t feel like I got enough value from it. I can see how it might click for other people, but for me, it just didn’t feel as helpful or clear as I expected.

"A few of the posts are..."
A few of the posts are helpful, but for what they charge every month, I expected a lot more depth. A lot of it feels like information I could probably find elsewhere for free with a little searching. I also tried reaching out to support with a question and ended up stuck in that annoying loop of generic replies that didn’t really solve anything. Overall, it’s not terrible, but I don’t feel like I’m getting enough value for the price.
"Price feels hard to justify"
I did like some of the ideas on lennysnewsletter.com, and there were a few useful takeaways, but the price just didn’t feel fair for what I ended up getting. I was expecting more depth or something that made the cost feel easier to justify, but it mostly left me feeling a bit let down.
I also got frustrated when I reached out for support because it felt like I was getting copy-paste replies instead of someone actually reading what I was asking. Maybe it’s worth it for other people, but for me the whole experience didn’t match the price.

"Not what I was promised"
I went in expecting practical product advice I could actually use, but it ended up being way too focused on startup stuff. It felt like they promised one thing and delivered something totally different. Just didn’t fit what I needed at all

"Pretty disappointing experience overall"
I was let down by the event. It felt disorganized, the audio was rough, and the pacing was all over the place. For something tied to Lenny’s Newsletter, I expected a lot more care to be put into it. If people are paying with their time and trust, it feels only fair to deliver something more polished than this.

"I still like it, but the posts are slow"
I’m not saying the content is bad or anything, when a post does show up, it’s usually good. I just expected updates to come a bit more often, and right now it feels slower than I’d like

"I gave it a try because I..."
I gave it a try because I was hoping for real step-by-step guidance, but a lot of the posts felt high level. There are definitely some interesting ideas in there, but you don’t really get enough concrete tactics you can actually use right away. For the price, I expected a lot more practical depth

"I ran into an issue with my account..."
I ran into an issue with my account and sent support an email, but it took way too long to get a response. When they finally did reply, it didn’t really answer what I was asking, so I was kinda left stuck. Frustrating when you’re paying for a newsletter.

"Helpful at times, but the answers don’t always line up"
There are some good ideas here, and I did find parts of it useful, but it gets hard to follow often. The writing can be confusing, and what bothered me most was that the answers felt inconsistent at times. One section would explain something one way, then another part would seem to say something slightly different, so I kept second-guessing what I was supposed to take from it...

"Onboarding felt way more confusing than it should’ve"
I got lost almost immediately during onboarding. It wasn’t clear what I was supposed to do next, and after a while it felt like I was begging for basic guidance, which left me resentful. I just wanted a smoother start without having to chase down every little step.

"Canceling Was a Hassle"
Well... canceling turned out to be way more frustrating than I expected. It took more effort than it should have, and the whole process felt like a hassle.
"Good interviews, easy to follow"
I’ve been enjoying the interviews so far. They feel natural and not overly scripted, which makes them easy to listen to. A few answers do run on a little longer than I’d like, but I still usually come away with at least one useful takeaway. Has anyone else noticed some parts dragging a bit, or is it just me?

"I signed up mostly because of the..."
I signed up mostly because of the templates, but they were underwhelming. Most of them felt like basic outlines I could’ve thrown together myself in a few minutes.
Maybe they’re helpful for some people, but for what I needed, they just didn’t do much. I was expecting more practical, ready-to-use stuff, and whoever runs this really should make them less generic and more useful.
"Useful frameworks, easy to apply"
I mostly read Lenny’s Newsletter for the frameworks. They’re practical and easy to use at work. Some posts aren’t really for me, but I still get enough out of it to keep reading

"Great library resources, but browsing is on whoever organized it"
I found a lot of genuinely helpful stuff in the library, so credit where it’s due. But trying to browse through it was more annoying than it needed to be. Whoever set up the layout or categories didn’t make it very easy to find things casually.

"Useful here and there, if you’ve got the patience"
I’ve picked up a few solid career tips from Lenny’s Newsletter, especially around product work and planning. To be fair, when it’s relevant, it’s actually helpful — which is nice, considering how long some of the posts can feel. A lot of it seems geared more toward startup folks than someone in my kind of role, so I don’t always feel like I need to read it every week. It’s not bad at all, just not something I’d call essential.

"Content felt kind of all over the place"
I signed up thinking I’d get steady, useful product content, but it just felt hit or miss. Some posts were fine and had decent takeaways, but then others seemed rushed or just not that helpful.
For the price, I was hoping it would feel more consistent from week to week. Maybe it works better for other people, but I just ended up getting annoyed and cancelled.

"Discussions felt a lot lighter than I expected"
I signed up mainly because I was interested in the comment discussions, but they didn’t really add much for me.
There were definitely a few thoughtful comments here and there, but a lot of the replies felt kind of repetitive, or like people were just nodding along with the article. I was hoping for more back-and-forth, but questions seemed to get skipped often.
Maybe it works better if you’re mostly there for the newsletter itself, but the discussion side was disappointing for me. I ended up cancelling after a short time. Did anyone else have the same experience?

"Not as useful for planning as I hoped"
Some of the posts were decent, but compared to other resources I use for strategy work, a lot of it didn’t feel very relevant to what I actually need. I was hoping for more practical ideas I could apply right away, but it was more hit-or-miss for me. Not terrible by any means, just not really worth it for my planning process.
